The new Solaris Sterilization Centre with VistaClear treatment system was implemented in the Fall of 2012. It is highly visible walking down the main hallway of our office. Having such an efficient system allows us to follow a strict sterilization protocol which consists of 4 separate stages.
- 1st stage consists of cleaning and decontamination.
- 2nd stage consists of careful preparation and packaging of the instruments.
- 3rd stage is where the instruments are sterilized.
- 4th stage is where the instrument trays are kept in a dedicated sterile storage area until needed.
